Inland bathing waters (lakes/streams etc) are analysed for presence of named pathogens, as specified in ‘The Bathing Water Regulations 2013’.
The named pathogens include E.coli/Coliforms & Intestinal Enterococci which signify presence of faecal contamination. Due to the nature of exposed bathing waters, wildlife can contaminate the water with faecal matter, which in high concentrations can cause a health risk to swimmers/bathers.
This suite is ideal for ensuring bathing waters comply with the Bathing Water Regulation classification table (waters rated as Excellent, Good or Sufficient depending on bacterial concentration).
This suite is applicable to anyone wanting to test bathing waters for swimming events, obstacle cause races, private lake owners or people interested in their local water ecology (streams/lakes etc).
